The 9th Edition of Matres - International Festival of Women's Ceramics, a meeting place of art, land and cultures, where ceramics becomes a universal language of dialogue, relationship and change.

The theme of this edition is. CIBUM, an invitation to reflect on nourishment not only as a primary need, but as a cultural gesture capable of creating community, transmitting memory and generating future.

Since time immemorial, ceramics have accompanied the act of nourishment: bowls, plates and containers born from the earth tell stories of shared tables, community and life over the centuries.

With CIBUM - Nourishing Art, Nourishing the Earth, the Matres Festival invites women artists, designers, ceramicists, scholars and the public to discuss the value of nurturing as an act of caring for people, the earth and relationships.

Matres is an international community that promotes female talent and beyond, enhancing creativity, diversity and dialogue between cultures through contemporary ceramics.
