The 9th Edition of Matres - International Festival of Women's Ceramics<\/strong>, a meeting place of art, land and cultures, where ceramics becomes a universal language of dialogue, relationship and change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

August 25 - 30, 2026<\/strong>: Cava de\u2019 Tirreni - Vietri sul Mare - Naples - Pontecagnano - Serre<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The theme of this edition is. CIBUM<\/strong>, an invitation to reflect on nourishment not only as a primary need, but as a cultural gesture capable of creating community, transmitting memory and generating future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since time immemorial, ceramics have accompanied the act of nourishment: bowls, plates and containers born from the earth tell stories of shared tables, community and life over the centuries.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With CIBUM - Nourishing Art, Nourishing the Earth<\/strong>, the Matres Festival invites women artists, designers, ceramicists, scholars and the public to discuss the value of nurturing as an act of caring for people, the earth and relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matres is an international community that promotes female talent and beyond, enhancing creativity, diversity and dialogue between cultures through contemporary ceramics.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

- International exhibitions and solo exhibitions of female artists
- Exhibition Contest CIBUM - Shared Lands. The forms of nourishment<\/strong>
- Exhibition Contest Matres Award Designer - Nourishing the Form<\/strong>
- Show Art\u00e9 - The Shapes of Tea (Tea Ware)<\/strong> In dialogue with museum collections
- Solo exhibitions - \u201cCIBUM - Personal Visions.<\/strong>\u201d - Tea ceremony by international female artists
- Talk: Ceramics, Food and Sustainability<\/strong>
-Guided tours among museums, territories and historic ceramic workshops
- Workshops, training and participatory art - Matres Creates<\/strong>
- Presentation of the international collaborative work MENSAE TERRAE<\/strong>
- Visits to the Sele River Nature Reserve<\/strong> and to the Royal Palace of Persano<\/strong>
- Final workshops and completion of firings of festival works
- International Women Artists' Dinner -<\/strong> Convivial table with unique dishes made by the artists
