Kourosh is a sculptor and new media artist. In 1983, he graduated in architecture from Shiraz High School, Iran, in 1997 he graduated in sculpture from Tehran University, and later in 2000 he specialized in Master of Advanced Studies in Art, Tehran University, Iran. Dean of the Department of Sculpture, Tehran University of Art. Member of the organizing team of Iranian Sculpture Forum. Member of the organizing team of local biennials and festivals and member of the jury. Member of the Cit\u00e9 Internationale des Arts, Paris. Artistic director of the 1st Tehran Sculpture Exhibition. Since 1990 he has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions, both national and international. Winner of numerous awards including the 1st Urban Sculpture Biennale, Barg Art Gallery, Tehran. He has made numerous environmental projects and installations. many of his works are in museums in Tehran and a sculpture in the permanent collection of LACMA ART Museum, Los Angeles. He participated with one of his works in the 2023 Matres International Women's Ceramics Festival in Cuba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
