Ceramic artist originally from Amol, Iran. Her passion for ceramics, especially porcelain and paperclay, began in 2010 and since then she has worked mainly in Italy and Iran. She graduated in 2003 in Dramatic Literature and in 2009 in sculpture from Ferdowsi University, Mashhad, Iran. Over the years, she has completed specialized courses in Raku at the Iranian Ceramic Artists Association and as an illustrator at the Iranian Illustration Artists Association.
Since 2018, she has been a member of the World Youth Forum and the International Pandora Artiste Association
Ceramists, and has been a member of the Iranian Association of Ceramic Artists since 2008. She has collaborated on urban art projects, including one in Amol, inspired by women in the mythological approach. She is a curator of exhibitions. She has participated in many national and international group exhibitions and some solo exhibitions. She is the winner of awards and mentions at events. She participated in the 62nd International Faenza Exhibition in 2023, the largest and most important ceramic exhibition in Europe. From December 7, 2023 to June 1, 2024, she exhibited in Naples at the Lapis Museum - Museum of Water, as part of the exhibition \"SUBTERRA - The Footprint of Water.\" Dorna develops installations and creates an invisible connection between her works and the viewer, inviting them to reflect and collaborate. These are representations that explain pain and its aesthetic transposition. What the artist is interested in is neither a representative expression of pain nor an aesthetic understanding of it; her interest is in approaching the space in which it is present. Pain is present behind every moment of evolution, with which the social body develops, works, acts and interacts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
